“Vrića smija”, hand-crocheted bag
“Vrića smija” takes its name from a verse in Oliver Dragojević’s timeless song: “a fistful of tears, a sack of laughter, what is life but a fantasy.” In that simple, deeply felt line lies an entire Mediterranean philosophy of living: the meeting of sorrow and joy, of salt and sun, of impermanence and the beauty of the moment. Oliver, a musical legend whose voice, romance and quiet charisma marked generations, sang of love, sea and Dalmatia with rare tenderness. His songs remain a living emotion and a symbol of this part of the world. It is in this spirit that the model was made: a playful yet poised bag, recognisable by its relaxed shape and long fringed tassels that lend it movement and character. Available in three sizes (large, small and a miniature version for little girls), it is a perfect companion for everyday and seasonal looks alike, a gentle reminder that life, despite everything, is always a little fantasy.
